The famous Hennessy Gold Cup is the jewel in the crown of Newbury's racing calendar and is part of the annual Winter Festival at the Racecourse with three days of quality Jump racing offering something for everyone.

Day 1 - Thursday 25th November - Newbury Day
Newbury Racecourse welcomes the first day of its Jump season on Day 1 of the Winter Festival. If you live in Newbury or Greenham parishes, it's FREE entry! If you've not been before there will be plenty going on around the parade ring with Jump racing masterclasses, displays, behind the scenes tours and trips to the start.
Day 2 - Friday 26th November - Gentlemen's Day
Fashion experts will be scouting the course for candidates for the Winter Style competition to find the best dressed gentleman, with plenty of great prizes up for grabs including an Austin Reed Q Club Membership.
Day 3 - Saturday 27th November - Hennessy Gold Cup Day
Who will be crowned this year's Hennessy Gold Cup champion? Last year, Denman won the race under top jockey Ruby Walsh. The historic Hennessy Gold Cup rounds off this year's Winter Festival at the racecourse.
In addition to the racing, off the track there is a winter shopping village, Parade of Champions, entertainers, live music and inside track masterclasses.
