Five passengers have had a narrow escape after the bus they were travelling on collided with a van in Tadley this afternoon.
It happened around 2 o'clock outside the Fighting Cock pub on the main road in the town.
The driver of the Stagecoach Bus had to be freed by firefighters after he became trapped.
Hampshire Police have told Newbury Sound that there were no serious injuries and they have made arrangements for the five passengers to be picked up by another bus.
The van driver was slightly injured but was checked over by ambulance crews and headed home.
Drivers are urged to avoid the area tonight. |
