Newbury's Market Place was full of hundreds of people celebrating Pancake Day this afternoon.
The town Pancake Races saw sixteen teams made up from local businesses, along with a few councillors, pitted against each other. Each team of four had to run relay races whilst tossing pancakes at the same time.
The annual event is organised by the Newbury Soroptimists Society, who are raising money this year for stroke victims and their carers in West Berkshire.
A team of Teletubbies won the "Best Dressed" award, Richard Jennings, dressed as Mario won the "Best Tosser" and the Newbury Weekly News took the crown as the fastest team.
John Hampson from the newspaper was compeering the event:
"Despite the grey weather and the rain we've had a fantastic time.
"This has been going on for many years now and it's just a great tradition to happen in the centre of town.
"But the main thing is lots and lots of fun and raising money for the Soroptimists International's annual charity".
