A Hungerford mum whose daughter is battling anorexia, is setting up a support group to help other carers of people with eating disorders.
Ana Hall says there is nothing in West Berkshire to help support the relatives and friends of those with anorexia or bulimia.
She's therefore taken it upon herself to arrange, after trying to look after her own daughter for the last three years:
"People who have a relative or friend, with an eating disorder are so isolated.
"If you don't feel supported there's no way that you can support your loved one.
"When my daughter was first diagnosed we didn't have any information at all. Somewhere where you can go and share stories and hopefully learn from each other. It's so important to keep learning".
If you would like to contact Ana you can do so by email or phone on anatdd@aol.com or 01488 683048.
She is arranging the support group with the help of the National Charity beat and needs people who have experience of eating disorders, are good listeners, none judgemental with a good sense of humour and is happy to follow beat's guidelines.
