Newbury's MP has been on air with us this morning to launch your new radio station, Newbury Sound.

Speaking on Chris Wright At Breakfast, MP Richard Benyon said today is a good day for the district: "It's a really exciting time and it reflects so much of what's going on in Newbury and West Berkshire.

"I honestly think we have got a great story to tell here in Newbury and in the wider community. It's going to have a radio station that's at the heart of things, giving people a platform and a forum and playing great music. It's a great day for us!"
