All of our local teams were in league action this weekend.

In the Zamaretto One South and West, Thatcham Town travelled to Cirencester Town.  An un-eventful game lead to a 0-0 drawy.

Hungerford were at home to Bishops Cleeve, they too had a goal-less game, and Norman Matthews from the club says they are still lacking a decent striker.

In the Hellenic Division One East, Kintbury drew 2-2 away to Eton Wick.

Newbury FC had an exciting, but goal-less first half away to Thame United - hitting the post twice!  But were then hit with 3 quick goals from Thame United shortly after the break and lost 3-0

And in Rugby, Newbury Blues were in National League One action at Stourbridge.  Newbury Blues won 6-3.
