Thousands of people packed on to the streets of Hungerford last night to join in the town's eighteenth annual Victorian Extravaganza.
Newbury Sound's Stuart McGinley presented his drivetime show live from the event and the Sound Crew were also there.
This is what some of the visitors had to say about the event:
"It's really good, it's really busy, lots of things for the Kids to do and I quite like the tradition of it."
"I quite like seeing the old traction engines."
"We come over from Newbury every year to have a look, have a walk up and down, watch the parade and listen to the granddaughter sing in the choir."
The Christmas event was initially set up to give a welcome boost to local retailers who stayed open until 9 o clock, when fireworks marked the end of the evening.
Rachel Furr from Furr and Company jewellers on Bridge Street told Newbury Sound it's a time when everyone in the town bands together:
"With the economy in an interesting state I think that there is a huge strength in drawing together and I think everybody does club together.
"We all see ourselves as a brand - brand Hungerford!"
