Helen is Newbury Sound's News Editor.
I'm a Kingsclere girl who moved down south from Manchester aged 9. I grew up here - going to Park House School and then St Barts for sixth form.
I went to Cardiff University and studied English and then moved to London for four years and worked in public relations, most recently working for Which? magazine. But I always wanted to be a journalist and so dropped everything to head back to Cardiff and complete their postgraduate diploma in broadcast journalism and I haven't looked back since.
I worked in a few local radio stations in South Wales as well as at ITV Wales before my home-coming to Newbury Sound!
