Newbury College could be growing.
After a very successful 2009, the college says it wants to expand.
It's even thinking about increasing the size of the campus by building more rooms for studying as well as areas for socialising.
Principal Anne Murdoch says they particularly want to improve their facilities for people studying sport and for those interested in construction.
She says this year they have been very careful with the pennies and have actually managed to finish the year in the black and this extra profit will now be put aside for this future investment:
"We've got some big ideas about what we would like to be able to do.
"We clearly want to improve on some of the facilities that we've got for our learners. We want to be able to build some new facilities.
"So what we are doing is any money that we make, in terms of a surplus, we're putting that aside to be able to invest in other facilities for our learners, because that is why we are here". |
