Newbury's first-ever multi screen cinema opens today and more than a thousand tickets have already been sold.
The Vue Cinema opens its doors at half past nine this morning and they're expecting a queue even then.
The first film they're showing is Fantastic Mr Fox which kicks off at 10 o'clock.
The cinema has seven screens, two with brand new 3D technology and more than a thousand seats to fill.
General Manager Steve Wallace has told Newbury sound how exciting the new technology is for film lovers:
"Not many cinemas have it but they are starting to come onto it.
"It's all in preparation for next year when there's a range of 3D products coming in. The big one's going to be Avatar, which is James Cameron.
"This technology isn't like the olden days with the red and green glasses. The technology is completely different and you've got to see it to believe it".
