After a stint in hospital radio, I made my break into radio when a new station (now Ten17) launched near where I grew up in Hertfordshire. It was here I worked as a producer, news presenter and, finally getting my own show 'The Album Chart' as a radio presenter. I was always told to have something else to fall back on in case I ever wanted to get a 'proper' job so I left home and headed off to Canterbury to study Geography at university. The radio bug soon crept up on me as I managed to secure weekend work at Invicta FM in Kent whilst working on my degree.
After leaving University I moved to Hampshire to work on Ocean FM full time for over six years. Then after leaving Ocean FM in 2005, I have since worked at Original 106 (Solent), The Gold UK Radio Network, 2CR-FM, Spire FM in Salisbury and more recently for the Heart Network in Hampshire and Dorset.
I am married to Kate who is a primary school teacher and we have two children - Poppy who is 3 and Ben who is 1.
