Live music on Friday night at the Corn Exchange comes from Kiki Dee and Carmelo Luggeri. This collaboration brings together their eclectic backgrounds from the worlds of soul, pop and rock.
Kiki Dee enjoyed chart success in the late 1970s with her singles Amoureuse, Star and Loving Free and of course her 1976 number 1 duet with Elton John, Don't Go Breaking My Heart. Both Kiki and Carmelo have worked together for over ten years and offer audiences at the Corn Exchange a variety of musical styles and interpretations on familiar classics.
Newbury Sound's Chris Wright spoke to both Kiki and Carmelo about their show, their music, their inspirations and even what Kiki buys Elton John for his birthday!
