Do you have useless toaster or broken kettle hanging around your house?
According to Veolia Environmental Services we've all got at least three unwanted electrical items in our homes.
They're encouraging people to drop these off at their Newtown Road Recycling Centre this week to mark Recycle Week.
And Derek from local charity the Community Furniture Project says they are going to try and fix them and sell them onto other people more in need: "When the general public bring in their electrical waste we assess it to see whether it can be reused. And if it can be reused, we then send it to our Greenham workshops for PAT testing and function testing.
"They are then put on show at our showrooms at a low cost price for people who are setting up home and haven't got a lot of money or are on various benefits - it keeps them out of the debt cycle".
